NAK also supports economic planning with an online calculator
The National Chamber of Agrarian Economy (NAK) has developed an online calculator on its website, with which it helps those active in agriculture to pre-calculate the subsidies of the Common Agricultural Policy starting in 2023. In addition, NAK also helps its members in many other ways to use subsidies as efficiently as possible.
Within the framework of the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) for the period 2023-2027, thousands of billions of domestic and EU funds are helping those active in Hungarian agriculture and the food industry. In Pillar I of the CAP, a significant amount is available to Hungarian producers, and outstanding amounts of resources can also be used for rural development, thanks to the favorable decision of the Hungarian Government to support domestic agriculture and rural areas, according to which it applies the largest national co-financing of 80%. Those affected can currently and will continue to get detailed information on the detailed conditions of the new forms of support on the NAK website, and the KAP calculator created by the chamber helps everyone to calculate the expected support amount based on the latest information.
The calculator is available here: https://www.nak.hu/kap2023
The calculator is suitable for calculating the estimated amount that can be called up for direct – production-related and production-independent – payments within the KAP support system in effect from 2023. It can be used to calculate the amount of basic income support, additional income support for young farmers, redistributive support, the agro-ecological program, and subsidies tied to crop and livestock production. The data are informative and based on estimates, the amount to be paid will depend in many cases on the number of animals registered for the title, the size of the area, and the euro exchange rate on September 30 of the current subsidy year.
In addition, NAK’s village managers provide professional and technical assistance to all chamber members so that they can successfully prepare for the challenges of the next period, meet new expectations and make the best decisions when applying for subsidies. In addition, the chamber will help provide the stakeholders with broad, up-to-date information on the current affairs of the CAP in numerous forums.
