Local Government Regulation on the protection of the Csabai Sausage

A local government regulation was made in Békéscsaba about the introduction of the Csabai Sausage trade mark, and conditions of its use. The Csabai Sausage is a Hungaricum.

Vantara Gyula (Fidesz-Christian Democratic) highlighted that the regulation facilitates the market accession of the products of small local producers and the building of the reputation of the Csabai Sausage. The city aims to provide a livelihood for more families by the keeping of pigs and sausage making. (MTI)
