For the first time among the drugstore chains available in Hungary, customers can use the self-service cash register in the Flórián tér store of Rossmann. The service is available from 31 August 2020 in one of the most visited and largest Rossmann stores in the country, taking into account customer feedback, although visitors to other high-traffic stores can expect to introduce checkouts.

Rossmann Magyarország replaced one of the traditional cash registers of the Flórián tér store with three self-service cash registers. They offer an extra, safe, contactless shopping alternative during a pandemic. Thanks to the new system, only the customer has access to the selected products, which can be placed in the bag immediately after scanning the barcode. At self-service checkouts, only credit card payments are possible, and the system also accepts Rossmann gift cards and Multiplay cards. Rossmann + cards and their associated VIP coupons can also be used for shopping.
