ÉFOSZ makes voluntary undertakes in order to improve public health
Salt, fat, calories, trans fat, responsible advertising, labeling and nutritional informations. The National Food Processors Association (ÉFOSZ) suggests not only the industry players to contribute in these areas with their undertakes to the diverse and balanced diet of the Hungarian consumers, but also hopes social cohesion in achieving these goals.
The ÉFOSZ sets out commitments in today's critical, healthy diet-related issues – such as salt, fat, calories, trans fat or responsible advertising – to the applicant organizations in order to contribute to the diverse and balanced diet of the Hungarian consumers on an industrial level, improving their health and encourage them to achieve an active lifestyle.
The details of the self-regulatory system and the first round of the connecting businesses will be announced by the ÉFOSZ in July 2014.
