In memory of the work of restaurateur and gastronomy writer Károly Gundel, the Hungarian Hospitality Industry Association – with the cooperation of several partner organizations – announces a call for nominations for the Károly Gundel Award in 2022.

Anyone can be nominated for the award who has been active in the field of Hungarian hospitality for at least 25 years with outstanding success, has an impeccable professional history and an exemplary life path, cherishes the historical traditions of Hungarian hospitality and feels committed to its renewal, supports the professional development of the younger generation, and contributes to the in promoting Hungarian hospitality.
