There is lack of bakers
The sector is struggling with a huge labor shortage and skilled workers are being lured with huge salaries despite the fact that it is being hit by an unprecedented wave of closures due to the extirpation of the kata, unprecedented high energy prices and also extreme inflation.
An artisan bakery opening in Diósdon is looking for a baker employee “able to work independently” for 650,000 forints net on profession.hu. The amount, if not a record, is considered to be in the top category in the sector (the record is probably taken by the Malackrumpli restaurant in Tihany with its 800,000 HUF net chef/deputy manager offer).
