Olympians at the National Wine Marathon
The National Wine Marathon, which is considered to be the biggest, national community event of the year will start from Hajós on 23 May.
It is planned that Vajda Attila, Cseh László and Hosszú Katinka Olympians will also enter the National Wine Marathon
Balla Attila the program director said on Thursday at the event heralding press conference told that the the idea to combine the two Hungarian success in industries, the wine and the sport was born two years ago. Their goal is to create a unique, key tourist attraction program series, that represent a new genre of social experience.
During the 11 days of the National Wine Marathon the participants will run 2573 kms, while passing through the 22 wine regions of Hungary, going through 102 villages. Two marathons and six half marathons are included to the program. (MTI)
