In Italy, they are being tightened further, with restaurants having to close early in the evening
The new measures took effect nationwide from midnight on Sunday and run until 24 November.
Bars, espressos, ice cream parlors, restaurants and other eateries are closed in the evening at 6pm and the restriction applies to all days of the week. Restaurants can seat up to four guests at each table, unless there are multiple members of the same family. Food and drink on the street or outdoors were banned. Food delivery is allowed until midnight. (MTI)
