Italian dessert course
On the 7th Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, in Hungary the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) gave centre stage to confectionery.
In cooperation with the guild of confectioners, they organised a 2-day dessert course last November, where the main objective was introducing the ingredients and preparation methods of Italian dessert making.
Master confectioner Angelo Gala made and introduced traditional and free-from desserts for almost 25 vocational school students and teachers. The master praised the guild’s workshop where the event took place, as he was really satisfied with the work conditions. On the first day of the programme Michele Fasciano form the Budapest delegation of the Accademia Italiana della Cucina welcomed the participants, introducing the 70-year-old organisation.
