Retail sales in the euro area increased in October
In the 19 euro area Member States, retail trade volumes increased by 1.5 percent in October, seasonally adjusted from the previous month, following a monthly decline of 1.7 percent in September. Analysts expected retail sales to grow 0.8 percent monthly in October. Compared with October 2019, retail sales in the euro area increased by 4.3 percent year-on-year. (MTI)
