In October, the expectations of tourism companies deteriorated slightly
The National Association of Tourism and Hospitality Employers (VIMOSZ), together with the Hungarian Tourism Association and GKI Gazdaságkutató Zrt., measures the expected development of the business cycle in tourism on a monthly basis and publishes the Tourism Business Cycle Index – here are the October data!
The TKI index stood at -13 points in October 2022 (interpreted on a scale between -100 and +100), which means that the players in the sector perceive their situation as deteriorating. Compared to the previous month, the value of the index fell by 6 points, which is the same as the rate of improvement in September. The deterioration made its impact felt in all subsectors.
