Euro area’s retail sales declined in October
In October, retail sales in the euro area declined, while in the European Union did not change on a monthly basis – the European Union's statistical office, the Eurostat announced on Thursday.
In October, the seasonally adjusted retail sales fell by 0.1 percent in the euro area compared with September. In the EU28 member, retail sales remained unchanged in October, compared to the previous month.
In September, retail sales decreased by 0.1 percent in the euro zone and increased by 0.3 percent in the 28 member states of the European Union on a monthly basis. (MTI)
