OKSZ: domestic food trade needs a VAT cut
According to the Central Statistical Office, inflation in August was 1.3 percent, which is a very low rate.
The price of many products has fallen since last year, but the food products are still expensive, at least according to the customers, who still can not buy more than before – OKSZ’s website shows.
The record low inflation is good for households, as real wages have become even greater. But the spendings of the families are slowly following the rise in real income slowly, presumably because they still have several burdens: fattened up food prices, still high fuel prices and household indebtedness.
