OKSZ: the mandatory requirement of staff number is a new tax
The mandatory requirement of staff number would be a new tax on retail – the National Retail Federation (OKSZ) said on Tuesday, in response to the government trade policy proposals appeared in the press.
According to the communication sent to MTI, the department stores determine the required number of staff themselves and there is no free labor force in the labor market. The mandatory requirement of staff number can be avoided by paying 60 percent of the guaranteed minimum wage, so it can be considered as a new public burden – OKSZ stressed, adding that it would be cheaper to pay than recruit.
