OKSZ: consumption may increase in the rest of the year
The National Retail Federation (OKSZ) expects growth of household spendings on an annual basis in 2015, but considers that this rate will be lower than in the first quarter of the year.
In response to the first quarter’s 7 percent retail sales expansion, the OKSZ highlighted the market-clearing effect of the online cash register system, as well as the lower fuel prices increased in its communication sent to MTI on Wednesday. The growth in real wages also had an effect in the rise of turnover – he added. (MTI)
