OKSZ: the vast majority want Sunday opening
The vast majority of professional organizations unanimously wanted Sunday opening at the consultation held by the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) – the National Trade Association (OKSZ) told.
The ministry was negotiating with teh professional (employer) organizations and trade unions on Wednesday about the bill on keeping the shops closed on Sunday.
The OKSZ – by not disputing the interests of the families, employees and the small businesses – considered it important to think over the adverse economic effects. In case of the store closure 15-20 thousand people are expected to be dismissed from trade. With the related areas a total 30 thousand dismissals are expected. (MTI)
