A smartphone app helps the apple growers
Small farmers cannot afford agricultural advice in Serbia yet, so they rely on ancient observations in apple growing – origo wrote. Five young people decided to help them with the latest technology.
Apples are one of Serbia’s most important agricultural exports. They are in sixth place in Europe and still have potential for growth.
Smaller farmers, on the other hand, cannot afford an apple cultivation consultant. A startup hurried to their aid and developed a mobile application, MapMyApple, to help apple orchard owners. (Telegraf.rs. origo)
