OECD: The world economy needs to be rebuilt on new foundations
In view of the coronavirus pandemic and its dramatic consequences, the OECD recommends rebuilding the economy on a new foundation in order to strengthen resilience to crisis situations.
OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurria called on governments to take “immediate action” at an online conference on Wednesday to address the structural weaknesses identified by the pandemic in preparation for economic recovery and strengthening international cooperation. (MTI)
