OECD: growth in the G20 slowed in the last quarter of last year

Economic growth in the G20, which brings together the 19 largest economies and the European Union, slowed in the last quarter of last year compared with the previous quarter.

OECD: G20 growth slows

According to data posted on the OECD website on Tuesday, GDP growth in the G20 slowed to 1.4 percent in the fourth quarter of last year from a third-year increase of 1.9 percent.

In the three months to the end of December last year, India’s economic growth slowed the most quarter-on-quarter, from 13.7 percent in the third quarter to 1.8 percent in the fourth quarter. (MTI)
