Octavian Dascalescu is the new CEO at BAT Hungary and BAT Austria
A new CEO was appointed as the leader of the British American Tobacco Hungary (BAT). The Romanian-born expert, who can speak Hungarian replaces Emil Moskofiant, who was the CEO for 14 months.
Octavian Dascalescu (39) started his BAT-career at the Romanian subsidiary in 1997. During his career, he worked in several international positions, including the two years at the BAT headquarters in London. Before his arrival to Hungary, he worked as a commercial and marketing distribution Manager at BAT's Russian subsidiary. Since August 2007 he was responsible for the total marketing activity of the company.
Octavian Dascalescu was born in Transylvania and can speak Hungarian perfectly. He arrived to Hungary with his wife and child.
