GVH would pay tracking fee
According to a law proposal; In the future 1 percent of the imposed fine, but not more than 50 million HUF would be given to the person who provides evidence of a cartel to the Competition Authority (GVH).
The name of the informer would be kept secret, during the investigation.
The law proposal containing the possibility that the informing individuals can receive 1 percent of the imposed fine, is already existing inth UK. There were examples that the secretary of the company announceded suspicion of cartelling. The Hungarian proposal – if the Parliament accept it – will come into force next March – reports Profitline.hu.
