GOSZ expects low prices on the wheat market
Cereal producers may hope for a good-average crop this year, but still some precipitation is needed to reach this goal – Vancsura József, Chairman of the National Association of Cereal Producers (GOSZ) told Világgazdaság.
The farmers may lose some profit on wheat production, according to the president, a yield of 8-9 tonnes would be needed to produce profits at current prices. Last year, wheat production brought losses to half of the producers, this year this ratio can be up to 70-80 percent. (vg.hu)
