After eight months of falling FAO's food price index rose in April
AO's food price index rose to 232.1 points from the 231 points of March. The cost of living increased most rapidly in the United States and food prices has grown most dynamically in April in China since 2008.
The FAO food price index decreases for eight months, the last peak was measured in June 2008. According to the FAO; the global food production will increase by 70 percent by 2050, while the Earth's population will exceed 9 billion people – repoprts Világgazdaság Online, after Bloomberg.
