Hungary's Industrial Producer Prices Stagnated in the Summer
According to KSH the domestic sales prices slightly rose by 0.1% in July 2007 compared to the previous month, and by 6.2% compared to July 2006.
The export sales prices expressed in HUF were higher by 0.6%
compared to the previous month and fell by 9.9% compared to the corresponding
month of the preceding year. Industrial producer prices involving both of the
price changes of domestic and export sales were higher by 0.4% compared to the
previous month and decreased by 2.8% compared to July 2006. The m/m rise of domestic sales prices in the manufacturing
industry kept eroding – almost unfrettedly since last October – and came in at
0.1% in July, following +0.5% June and +0.7% in May. In annual terms, the KSH
detected a 2.2% increase here, versus a 3.6% rise in June.
