Continente comes out with plant-based product range
Portuguese supermarket chain Continente has unveiled ‘Powered by Plants’, a new private label vegetarian product line. The product range consists of meat-free burgers, nuggets and meatballs made exclusively from vegetable protein. These wheat and pea or soy protein products replicate the sensory characteristics of meat by combining natural aromas, herbs and spices.
