Retail sales rose by 0.8 percent in the Czech Republic in November
In November retail sales increased by 0.8 percent in the Czech Republic on an annual level – the Czech Statistical Office announced on Monday.
Last year, this was the lowest monthly increase in sales, turnover dropped in May. In October, the increase in retail sales was 7.5 percent in an annual comparision.
According to experts, the moderate increase in November is the result of the lower food and fuel purchases, while the sales of the online stores rose by rose 10.2 percent and IT sores by 9.6 percent. (Kokes János, MTI)
