The Lactalis dairy producer increased its market share in Romania
The Lactalis dairy producer increased its market share in Romania. The company bought the Covalact firm from the US investor SigmaBleyzer – the Ziarul Financiar economic and financial newspaper reported on Monday.
The Covalact dairy producer has two plants in Sepsiszentgyörgy and in Csíkszereda. The company had 200 million lei (about 45 million euros) revenue last year with a 6 million lei (1.3 million euros) profit. Before 2015, the company was making loss for five years. The company has 360 employees. (MTI)
