Huawei has increased its market share in the market of smartphones in China
China’s Huawei Chinese telecom giant increased its market share in the market of smartphones in the third quarter, further narrowing its space for rivals, according to a report released on Wednesday by the Singapore-based independent Canalys analyst firm.
In the third quarter of this year, 97.8 million smartphones were sold in mainland China, 41.5 million of which were Huawei products. Smartphone sales in China increased from 97.6 million units in the second quarter, while the market of smartphones declined year-on-year, although shrinkage declined to 3 percent. (MTI)
