The Lego Group increased sales and profits last year
Thanks to its ever-expanding product portfolio, the Danish Lego Group achieved a turnover growth in 2014, excessing the market average and reached higher profit than expected – the company told MTI on Wednesday.
The Lego Group's sales revenues rose by 13.0 percent to 28.6 billion Danish kroner in 2014, from the 25.3 billion kroner of 2013.
The firm, the world's largest toy maker announced that sales in the US, UK, France, Russia and China were particularly strong.
Lego estimates that 85 million children played with the company's toys last year. (MTI)
