Growing Chinese tourism in Hungary
Hungary appeared for the first time, in the Chinese Best of Tourism magazine’s compilation, which includes the 50 most popular destinations for Chinese tourists – states the newsletter of the Hungarian National Tourist Office (MT Zrt.).
According to the December issue of the magazine, published last year, among the 139 countries, Hungary is at the 47th position.
The Czech Republic is the 48th and Israel is the 46th. The ranking order is Japan, Hong Kong and the Maldives, Nepal is on the 50th place.
In Hungary, the Chinese tourism in the last 5 years – even during the crisis – has been steadily increasing with an average 10-12 percent each year.
