Hungarian pepper cultivation faces growth
The Hungarian pepper cultivation has positive outlooks. The 170 thousand tons of production may rise further next year. The development supports and the use of thermal energy can help to reach this goal – the Magyar Hírlap wrote.
Mártonffy Béla, President of the Hungarian Fruit and Vegetable Interprofessional Organization and Marketing Board (FruitVeb) reported that the pepper production fell slightly previously, but the decline has stopped and now we can expect growth.
According to Mártonffy producers are expecting balanced price levels in 2013, so it is a good basis to continue the work in 2014, and carry out developments. (MTI Magyar Hírlap, Magyar Nemzet Online)
