Growth, successful campaigns, new partnerships: this was 2024 for Hungarian Product
This year Hungarian Product set a new record with 260 trademark users, who now strengthen the Hungarian economy with nearly 6,000 products bearing the label. We spoke to Eszter Benedek, managing director of Hungarian Product Nonprofit Kft.:

“We have been preparing campaigns to bring trademark users together for years. This year we continued the “Hungarian gives you more” campaign, with 51 manufacturer brands and 3 private label products participating. In the 2023 financial year annual sales by our partners exceeded HUF 4,500bn.
We see that consumers are becoming more conscious shoppers, so our task is to ensure the highest possible visibility for our trademark users. This is reinforced by our own loyalty site (www.magyaranyero.hu), which has over 100,000 visitors. I am proud of the fact that we work closely with most of the major chains.
Our Agora professional conference celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2024, with 200 participants. Another new initiative is Mesterművek, a private business club founded by Hungarian Product to provide a forum for the owners and managers of our partners, where they can exchange views on interesting topics in a confidential environment.
What am I most proud of this year? Perhaps the cooperation agreement with the Education Authority, which is one of the most important milestones in the history of the organisation. As a result, Hungarian Product and its trademark system have been incorporated into educational material”. //
