Retail sales increased last year in Slovakia
On an annual basis, retail sales in Slovakia grew by 3.4 percent last year. The total amount of Slovakian retail sales was approximately 18.9 billion euros – the analysis of Poštová Banka, was sent to MTI on Thursday.
The financial institution’s analysis states that in 2014 one of the driving forces of the development of the Slovak economy was domestic consumption. The increase in the labor market, the wage increases also contributed to the growth, while the retail prices and the service prices did not increase. (MTI)
