Retail sales increased in the European Union
The pace of retail growth in June accelerated both the euro area and in the EU – Eurostat’s figures show.
Eurostat estimated that the volume of retail sales, compared to the previous month, increased by 0.4 percent in the EU, and by 0.5 percent in the euro area seasonally adjusted, compared with the 0.3 percent and 0.4 percent increase in May – the EU’s statistical office announced on Thursday. (MTI)
