IKEA’s revenues have increased
The IKEA Group’s revenues have increased in the fiscal year ended at the end of August 2013. The company’s sales were 27.9 billion euros. That is a 3.1 percent growth, compared to the previous year (and an increase of 3.6 percent after adjusting the currency changes). The IKEA has overtaken its rivals, because only a 1.8 percent growth in sales occurred at stores with a similar profile.
Last year, IKEA reached the largest increase in Russia and China, but also achieved a significant progress in North America. While the current economic situation continues to impact the southern European countries, the IKEA Group was able to increase its market share in almost all markets. (Világgazdaság Online – T. D.)
