An increase in the Euro Zone’s and the EU’s retail sales in July
The volume of retail sales increased in the Euro Zone and in the European Union in July.
The EU's statistical office (Eurostat) on Thursday reported that according to the seasonally adjusted data, the volume of retail sales in July in the Euro Zone grew by 0.4 percent, compared to the previous month, while the year over year growth was 2.7 percent.
In the European Union the growth in a monthly comparison was 0.3 percent, while on an annual basis, retail sales grew by 3.3 percent in July. (MTI)
