The turnover of Wiesbauer-Dunahús increased last year
Despite difficult economic conditions, Karl Schmiedbauer, Commercial Counselor and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wiesbauer Holding Rt. considered the turnover of 5.1 billion forints as positive. The company achieved a 4 percent increase.
Henry Heumann, managing director of the Wiesbauer-Dunahús, is concerned about the current swine fever and the fall of the Hungarian national currency in the autumn. Part of the revenue surplus is due to higher selling prices, but still does not cover the sharp increase in the purchase price of raw materials, in particular pork. These huge price increases were only too late or only partially offset by the food trade.
