Railway carrying more weight
According to KSH figures, the total volume of transported goods increased by 7,3 per cent in 2006. Total weight of transported goods was 337 million tons. The quantity transported by rail grew by a spectacular 8 per cent, but international freight accounted for the increase. The volume of domestic freight by railway fell by 10 per cent.
