Increase in tourist traffic in the Czech Republic
Tourist traffic in the Czech Republic increased by two percent on an annual basisin the third quarter of 2014 – the Czech Statistical Office (CSU) announced on Friday.
In this year's second quarter teh growth was 1.8 percent. The number of the German tourists increased the most in the number of foreign tourists, while the number of Russians dropped significantly.
In the third quarter, 5.4 million tourists resreved a room in the Czech Republic. While the number of domestic tourists largely remained unchanged the number of foreign tourists increased by 4.2 percent. (Kokes János, MTI)
