Ham purchase saw a growth both in terms of value and volume
More and more ham is being purchased in the stores during Easter-time. Last year, customers spent nearly 5 billion HUF on ham, which is 4 percent higher than in the previous year.
TThe quality sold saw a growth of 5 percent, to nearly 3 300 tons – among many other issues, this is what market researcher company Nielsen stated in its latest survey on customer preferences.
The average customer price of one kilogramm ham is 1594 HUF, according to the data of March and April, whicj is 1 percent lower than this time last year.
