Mobile data traffic and the Internet market both increased
The mobile data traffic increased by 35 percent in the last quarter in Hungary in an annual comparision, mainly due to the development of the network infrastructure and the widespread of the mobile devices – the Central Statistical Office (KSH)’s recent Telecommunications and Internet publication reveals.
The report shows that the number of registered mobile phone subscriptions was close to 11.8 million in the last quarter of 2014. The proportion of postpaid subscriptions increased to 55 percent against the proportion of the prepaid cards. The number of postpaid subscriptions increased by 120 thousand in a year. (MTI)
