Retail sales increased in the Czech Republic
In March, the rate of growth of retail sales in the Czech Republic dropped to 4.4 percent in April, from the 6 percent in February – the Czech Statistical Office (CSÚ) announced on Monday in Prague.
Retail sales increased by 6.6 percent this year with the fastest pace in January.
In the first quarter, annual growth in turnover was 6.2 percent.
Growth in retail sales in March was mainly due to the sales increase of grocery stores and Internet sales. (MTI, Kokes János)
