Retail sales in the euro area increased

Euro area retail sales grow by almost one and a half per cent on an annual basis
The retail concept in October was 1.4 percent higher than in October 2020.
In September, sales fell 0.4 percent on a monthly basis.
In the 27 Member States of the European Union, retail sales increased by 0.3 percent month-on-month in October, following a 0.3 percent month-on-month decline in September. Retail sales in the EU in October were up 2.3 percent from a year earlier. (MTI)
