The volume of goods handled at the Liszt Ferenc Airport increased last year
The volume of goods handled at the Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport increased by 15 percent, compared to the previous year – the Budapest Airport informed MTI in a statement on Thursday.
The 146 thousand tons of cargo handled at Ferihegy Airport consisted of goods supplied by integrators (UPS, FedEx, DHL, TNT) and goods carried in the cargo space of passenger aircrafts. This result is a good indication of the development of the Hungarian economy as well as the development of export-oriented industries – they pointed out in the communication. (MTI)
