Domestic chicken processing has increased this year, but producer prices for chicken meat have also risen, according to a market report published by the Institute of Agricultural Economics on Thursday.

According to their data, in the first 5 months of 2021, almost 290,000 tons of poultry were slaughtered domestically, 4 percent more than in the same period of the previous year. The chicken accounted for 194 tonnes, an increase of 2 percent year-on-year. (MTI)
