Nomad Foods Teams Up With WWF To Promote Sustainable Agriculture
Frozen food giant Nomad Foods has entered into a partnership with WWF to find agricultural solutions to what it describes as the ‘triple challenge’ of feeding a growing global population while tackling the climate crisis and reversing biodiversity loss.
Initially, the partnership will focus on two main projects centred around vegetable production.
The first project involves a blueprint for landscapes that can increase food production through ‘nature-positive’ farming practices.
The other will focus on measuring the impact of biodiversity at the farm level to target interventions and seek new ways of increasing pollinators such as bees and other species.
