NMHH: thirteen percent decrease in the number of television product appearances
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the number of television product appearances fell by thirteen percent in the second half of 2020, compared to the same period of 2019, the National Media and Communications Authority’s (NMHH) communications directorate said on Tuesday.
The authority said in a statement that the study analyzed self-produced programs broadcast by national commercial televisions in the second half of 2020. During the six months, 2,427 brands were advertised, a total of 17,675 such advertisements were featured on RTL Klub and TV2, 13 percent less than those registered in the same period of 2019 (20,412).
