NMHH: The number of sent text messages has decreased and the number of mobile calls has increased in recent years
Retail subscribers wrote and sent 714 million text messages with their mobile phones in 2021, but in 2018 that number still exceeded one billion; although the desire to send text messages is declining, the number of mobile calls and even the length of conversations is increasing, the National Media and Communications Authority (NMHH) told MTI on Friday.

Decreased sms sending mood
However, the role of Short Message Service (SMS) has not disappeared: it has a key role in service providers’ communication with customers and in checking online access rights, they have indicated.
According to the announcement, in 2018 an average residential subscriber sent 11 sms per month, but in 2021 it only eight (MTI)
