NKFH: Auchan recalled 220 gram beef bologna baby food due to microbiological non-compliance
Due to microbiological non-compliance, Auchan Hungary Kft. has recalled the 220-gram package of Auchan Kedvenc Bolognese spaghetti pasta and beef baby food, recommended for children from 8 months of age and with a best-before date of April 20, 2026, from the market – the National Trade and Consumer Protection Authority (NKFH) drew attention to this in a statement sent to MTI on Thursday.
The authority stated that, according to the notification, the contamination in the batch was detected based on an examination carried out as part of a self-check, and the company, in cooperation with the NKFH, immediately took the necessary measures within its own competence, ensuring that the objectionable batch was withdrawn from the market and recalled from consumers.
The authority is monitoring the measures taken by the company, as well as the further fate, destruction and transport of the recalled products – the statement said.
The NKFH requests that the recalled product with the item identifier listed on their website not be consumed. The recalled product can be returned to Auchan Hungary Kft. stores.
