NKFH: Auchan recalled deli and sliced salami with paprika due to undeclared allergen content

According to the announcement, a self-check revealed the presence of soy in the sliced salamis labeled “soy, gluten and lactose free”.

It was emphasized that Auchan Hungary Kft., in cooperation with the NKFH, took the necessary measures within its own jurisdiction: the affected items were withdrawn from circulation and recalled from consumers. The authority is monitoring the measures taken by the company and the further fate of the recalled products (destruction or removal).

The NKFH asks consumers sensitive to soy to contact Auchan Hungary Kft. Do not consume the products sold by Auchan Kedvenc Paprikás and Csemege Salámi Sliced with the best-before dates of September 16, 2025 and August 8, 2025, and with the batch identifiers L:4264 and L:4213, respectively.

Auchan Hungary Kft. asked consumers on its website to return the affected products to any of the company’s stores, where the full purchase price of the products will be refunded, even without a block.
